Cory Thompson has served at FFWBC since June 2014. This is not Cory’s first time to be a part of the congregation of FFWBC. While his father, Bob, pastored the church from 1984-1989, he committed his life to Christ and followed in baptism. Cory’s grandfather, Bailey, also pastored the church serving two different times. Our pastor received his Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and completed his BA in Theology from Randall University. Cory is committed to expository or text-driven preaching, believing that a preacher without a word from God has nothing to say.
Cory is joined by his wife, Brandy, and four children, Caroline, Campbell, Carsyn, and Claire.
